Chee-Kit Lai (of Mobile Studio Architects) has been working as Director of Exhibitions at The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL to deliver in response to the global pandemic the first ever virtual end of year Summer Show. The groundbreaking platform is developed by Hello Monday in collaboration with staff and students from The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL. The virtual show features architecture projects from over 700 students across four different programmes. The online format focuses on students’ voice and recreates the immersive qualities of visiting the galleries at 22 Gordon Street, London (10 Sep – 2 Oct)

Studio C102 X Mobile Studio shortlisted for National Railway Museum Wonderlab gallery competition

Collaborators Studio C102 X Mobile Studio Architects together with Max Fordham are among five design teams shortlisted to design the £3m Wonderlab gallery at the National Railway Museum in York. The winner, to be announced shortly, will create a ticketed 1,466sqm interactive exhibition for 7-to-14 year olds featuring ‘powerful and memorable experiences’ focusing on engineering. It will be built within the museum’s ground-floor engineering workshop as part of their Vision 2025 regeneration masterplan (13 Nov)

Join this drop-in workshop for adults, held in conjunction with the opening of Renzo Piano exhibition at the RA and Open House London. Create a collaborative growing structure, drawing inspiration from Renzo Piano’s buildings which often weave between traditional and high-tech architecture.
